Summer 2013 Kimonomachi Yukata

Well, I waited until this free international shipping campaign on Rakuten to buy a yukata from the new summer collection by Kimonomachi. I really had many that I liked, but I decided to go with the one most different from the yukata I already own. I picked the orange morning glory yukata with a blue reversible obi (one side is a whirlpool design; the other is goldfish). I also got a cream colored bag and light green geta (for a different yukata), along with a random obikazari. I can't wait til it all arrives!!

Best Geta EVER and Haneri

I recently purchased a pair of geta from the seller Kimonomachi on Rakuten. While inexpensive, these are the best geta I have ever tried on! I bought the LL, which actually fits my wide size US 10 foot (often times even the LL is too small). The hanao have a soft underlayer which feels amazing, and I didn't have to loosen them. PLUS - they come in a ton of cute patterns! This is the one I purchased:

And I added a neat ro haneri to the order. Pretty matcha green with willow leaves =)

New Geta!

I have been waiting to get some new geta for some time. I really wanted black lacquer geta in the toothed style, so I finally got some inexpensive ones today. Yay ;D

Pink Geta!

I guess I was feeling pink today, because when I saw these geta on Ryu Japan, I HAD to snag them! There were so many colors and designs, but cute and pink won! I can't wait until they get here, but it's bound to be awhile because they're coming SAL. =(
