Obiage and Obijime Overload!
As I have stated upon several occasions, I needed to obtain more obiage and obijime (instead of more kimono, lol). Over the past few weeks, this is what I have come up with. The orange ones I am receiving through a trade, and the others I purchased from Shinei and econecojapan. So here are the spoils!

You're a red obiage closer to the Botan cosplay, aren't you? I have a flat, pale purple obijime that I'm selling, if you still need one.

ReplyDeleteAnd yes, I'm one step closer to finishing the botan cosplay. Really just need red zori big enough for my US size 10 feet, and also need to decide what color her obijime is! X_X

ReplyDeleteBigger zori are tough to find. Mine only need to be about 22cm, but finding them wide* enough is impossible. I must have four pairs that are too narrow to pull on. I broke the last pair after only an hour or two of wearing them. -_- Maybe Rakuten? Or check Ebay, too, and get one of those pairs of zori that's wooden on bottom and paint them a red that matches the hanao and lacquer the paint with clear finishing coating.
