More pictures of Tsuki no Ie Okiya at MTAC 2014

One of our guests kindly let me use his photos from a few of our panels at MTAC 2014. Here are some from our makeup and kitsuke panel as well as the ozashiki (sadly, none from the tea ceremony).

You all look fantastic! There's one photo up there where you have the perfect mysterious geisha-smirk. Absolutely epic.

I can't wait to sic Tsutsujime-san on Tsukiteru-san for Konpira Fune Fune - she's the fastest of us!! All your photos are gorgeous, and your sisters are so very beautiful!!

I don't know the dance your two sisters are performing, you said it was Sakura, Sakura? I haven't seen videos of this before! If it's to the famous Japanese folk tune, it's a very pretty piece! Do you have any videos of this performance? I'd love to hear you play!

    Best,

    Hasume

  3. Thank you, Kumiko-san! I've been playing the shamisen for about 3 years now, and it's always fun for me when I'm able to perform. =)
